Class of 2027
MAS is a great school. My family brought me here because they knew the middle schools in our district wouldn’t set me up for success. It’s taken time, but now I’m confident in my abilities as a learner—and it shows in my work. It’s also meaningful to be part of the first graduating class at Old Coors. I feel like my classmates and I are leaving behind a legacy for future students to look up to

MAS is a different kind of school. My friends who attend other schools in our area don’t face the same expectations, and I can see how being in an environment that pushes me to reach my full potential is truly beneficial. I’m more motivated to succeed than my friends who don’t attend MAS, and I know that’s because of my teachers and the way our school operates—it doesn’t let me slack off. It’s challenging, and I don’t always enjoy it, but I know it’s good for me in the long run.

I learn a lot at MAS. I can tell I’m making progress because my teachers let me know when I’m improving, especially when I work hard. I also think my spelling has gotten much better because my teachers have helped me become a stronger reader. Winning the STEM fair also showed me how much I’ve learned about science.
