Enrollment & Admissions

Q: How do I enroll my child at MAS Charter School?

A: To enroll, visit our Enrollment page and complete the online application. For assistance, contact our office at (505) 242-3118.

Q: What grades does MAS Charter School serve?

A: For the 2025-2026 school year, we serve students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our Old Coors campus serves K-8. Our Yale campus serves K-12.

Q: Is there a tuition fee?

A: No. MAS Charter School is a free public charter school; there is no tuition.

Q: Do you have a waitlist?

A: Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. If capacity is reached, applicants will be placed on a waitlist and notified when a spot becomes available. See our Enrollment page for more information.

Academics & Curriculum

Q: What curriculum does MAS Charter School follow?

A: We offer a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum aligned with New Mexico state standards, emphasizing critical thinking and real-world application. See our Academics page for more information.

Q: Are Advanced Placement (AP) courses available?

A: All MAS high school students are offered the opportunity to participate in college level courses through our dual-credit college program. In some instances, MAS students have graduated high school with the college associate's degree! See our College & Career page for more information.

Q: How does MAS support students with special needs?

Student Life & Support

Q: What extracurricular activities are available?

Q: Is transportation provided?

A: Yes. We offer free bus transportation with designated pick-up and drop-off locations. See our Transportation page for all the details.

Q: Do you offer before and after school programs?

A: Yes. We offer free before-school programs that in 2025-2026 start at 7:30 a.m. and after-school programs that run until 6 p.m. Please see our After School Program page for more information.
