MEET THE CLASS OF 2025 — DAMIAN VILLALOBOS
Over the last six years, our next graduating senior has grown into a thoughtful and motivated young man who leads with focus, gratitude, and a steady sense of purpose. Since joining the MAS community in 7th grade, he’s built strong relationships with teachers, embraced opportunities to prepare for the real world — including through our Driver’s Education program — and found personal motivation in his passions and goals. Whether it’s through his post-graduation plans to eventually become a certified electrician or his reflections on what really matters in life, he approaches each chapter with responsibility and heart. Meet Damian, in his own words…

Post-High School Plans: Attending CNM and then completing the Commercial Electrician Installer Certificate program with a nationally-recognized electrical contactor
Passions and Hobbies: Basketball, which has taught him persistence and personal growth
Life Lesson: “Live your life to the fullest — you never know when your time will come.”
Q&A WITH DAMIAN
MAS: What advice would you like to give to freshmen based on your experiences?
DAMIAN: “Pay attention. Teachers aren't your enemies — they're here to help and want what's best for you.”
MAS: What did you like best about attending MAS?
DAMIAN: “I liked that we didn’t have homework, and I appreciated how the teachers and staff encouraged us to be our best.”
MAS: Who do you admire most?
DAMIAN: “My mom. She’s a hard worker, and she’s always been there for me.”
MAS: Fast-forward 10 years… where do you see yourself?
DAMIAN: “I see myself working in the electrical trade; living in Mesa, Arizona; being financially stable; and making my mom proud.”
MAS: Favorite local meal?
DAMIAN: “Pho #51 from Pho 1. I’ve been going there since I was about seven years old. I love it with steak, noodles, broth, and all the toppings — onions, cilantro, lime, bean sprouts, and chile oil.”
Damian’s drive to build a meaningful career, appreciation for those who support him, and quiet resolve make him another standout member of the Class of 2025. We’re proud of all he’s accomplished — and even more excited for what comes next.
