Meet MAS Old Coors Students of The Month For April 2025

Recently, our Old Coors campus recognized its Students of the Month for April 2025 for embodying the values of the Choose Love Movement and our school’s fundamentals. The 10 students listed below were nominated by their teachers for demonstrating courage, gratitude, forgiveness, compassion, and other qualities that define the MAS school community. Iker Castillo – Old Coors Campus PreK Student of the Month for April 2025: Iker is being celebrated this month for consistently demonstrating the Choose Love pillar of Compassion in Action. Whether he's lending a helping hand to friends or taking pride in keeping the classroom clean, Iker shows a genuine kindness and care for others that makes our PreK community a warmer, more connected place.

Jezrae McGuinness – Old Coors Campus Kindergarten Student of the Month for April 2025: Jezrae is being recognized for the way she embodies the Choose Love pillar of Gratitude each day. Her courteous manners, positive attitude, and respectful interactions with classmates and staff reflect a deep appreciation for her school environment and the people in it. Jezrae’s gratitude shines through her actions and uplifts those around her.

Josiah Lloyd – Old Coors Campus 1st Grade Student of the Month for April 2025: Josiah is honored for his commitment to being relentless about improvement and for consistently creating a great impression. He’s worked hard to meet classroom expectations, shown kindness to classmates, and made noticeable progress in his behavior and attitude. His growth and positive choices have not gone unnoticed.

Nolan Martinez – Old Coors Campus 2nd Grade Student of the Month for April 2025: Nolan is a model of positivity. A quiet yet powerful leader, Nolan encourages his classmates daily with kind words and steady support. His uplifting presence helps create a classroom environment where everyone feels inspired to do their best.

Jasmine Chaparro – Old Coors Campus 3rd Grade Student of the Month for April 2025: Jasmine is recognized for her ability to create a great impression through her consistent display of respect, responsibility, and academic excellence. She stays focused, goes above and beyond in her work, and demonstrates honesty and integrity in all that she does. Jasmine’s dedication leaves a lasting impact.

Lailani Jackson – Old Coors Campus 4th Grade Student of the Month for April 2025: Lailani stands out for embracing all four Choose Love pillars… Courage, Gratitude, Forgiveness, and Compassion in Action, as well as exemplifying key MAS Fundamentals such as making quality personal, honoring commitments, speaking with impeccability, delivering results, assuming positive intent, being a lifelong learner, embracing change and growth, and going the extra mile. Her kind spirit, dedication to learning, and willingness to help others set a high standard for excellence.

Khai-Li Smith – Old Coors Campus 5th Grade Student of the Month for April 2025: Khai-Li is honored for living out the Choose Love pillars of courage, gratitude, forgiveness, and compassion, along with consistently making quality personal, speaking with impeccability, being relentless about improvement, and creating a great impression. Khai-Li is a respectful, hardworking student who seeks understanding through thoughtful questions and models leadership through her actions.

Adriana Valera – Old Coors Campus 6th Grade Student of the Month for April 2025: Adriana is celebrated for expressing what it means to be a lifelong learner. She asks insightful questions, embraces every opportunity to grow, and demonstrates strong self-discipline and self-control. Her dedication to personal and academic development makes her a role model in the sixth grade.

Alexis Maldonado Martinez – Old Coors Campus 7th Grade Student of the Month for April 2025:Alexis exemplifies the Choose Loe pillar of courage and several MAS Fundamentals including getting clear on expectations, taking extreme ownership, delivering results, delivering legendary education, and pitching in wherever necessary. Alexis combines intellect with humility and a sincere desire to help others, making a positive and lasting contribution to our seventh-grade classroom community.

Estra Gonzales – Old Coors Campus 8th Grade Student of the Month for April 2025: Estra is recognized for her embodiment of the Choose Love pillars courage and compassion in action, as well as for expressing positive intent, being a lifelong learner, and creating a great impression. Estra takes responsibility for her own growth while uplifting her peers, consistently showing leadership and a deep commitment to community success.
