Sealing Success: MAS Seniors Declare Their College Plans to Classmates

As members of the Class of 2025 prepare to take the stage tomorrow morning for graduation, we’re taking you back to last Friday, when seniors participated in our on-campus Senior Signing Ceremony. Unlike most other schools, our graduates agree to the terms of a Post-Secondary Success Agreement — a document that outlines a mutual commitment between graduating seniors, their families, and MAS Charter School to support the student’s continued academic and personal success after high school. For us, it formalizes everyone’s responsibilities in helping students stay on track with their post-secondary plans, particularly if they’re going to college after graduating from MAS.

Last Friday, in an event that’s as central to our mission as anything else, members of the Class of 2025 had their chance to sign their Post-Secondary Success Agreements and unveil to the entire school where they’ll be attending college in the fall. In this post, we’re happy to share a video from the on-campus celebration, which leads into a similar event taking place this evening at the University of New Mexico for graduates’ families.
