YALE CAMPUS STUDENTS OF THE WEEK (APRIL 28 – MAY 2, 2025)

This week, we are proud to highlight 14 outstanding students from our Yale campus who have gone above and beyond in academics, personal growth, and character. From PreK through 12th grade, these students exemplify many of things we care deeply about, including perseverance, compassion, responsibility, and leadership potential. Please join us in celebrating their well-deserved recognition as our Yale Campus students of the week for Monday, April 2, 2025 through May 2, 2025!

Ivan Ramirez – Yale PreK Student of the Week: Ivan has made incredible progress this year, demonstrating growth in both learning and his relationships with others. He is kind, supportive, and always willing to lend a helping hand to his classmates. We’re proud of the thoughtful student and friend he’s becoming!

Yosiah Chavez – Yale Kindergarten Student of the Week: Yosiah has shown maturity and focus in both academics and behavior. He owns his growth, corrects mistakes quickly, and models leadership by letting others take the spotlight. His calm, focused energy stands out every day.

Ayden Serna – Yale 1st Grade Student of the Week: Ayden is embracing change and growth by stepping outside his comfort zone. His participation, communication, and confidence have grown tremendously… proof of his consistent effort and perseverance. Way to go, Ayden. Keep embracing the journey because you’re doing amazing things!

Sophia Swonger – Yale 2nd Grade Student of the Week: Sophia continues to make progress by participating more in class, repeating after teachers, and growing more comfortable with support and collaboration. Great job, Sophia!

Natalie Lira – Yale 3rd Grade Student of the Week: Natalie shines for her strong class participation and consistent results. Her dedication and effort set a great example for her peers.

Allison Orduna – Yale 4th Grade Student of the Week: Allison listens, works hard, and always strives to do the right thing. Her consistent effort is appreciated by teachers and classmates alike.

Maria Luz Ortega – Yale 5th Grade Student of the Week – not pictured: Maria Luz leads with compassion, always showing kindness to her classmates and offering help wherever it’s needed. Her positive attitude makes a difference.

Dayanna Marufo – Yale 6th Grade Student of the Week: Dayanna shows resilience by taking academic risks, even when unsure. She’s brave, committed, and always eager to improve.

Abel Chavez – Yale 7th Grade Student of the Week: Abel’s perseverance is unmatched. No matter the challenge, he gives his all and delivers with a full heart and strong work ethic.

Aldo Mendez – Yale 8th Grade Student of the Week – not pictured: Aldo exemplifies integrity and consistency. He completes responsibilities with a positive attitude and inspires others by doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. Congratulations, Aldo!

Ryler Santella – Yale 9th Grade Student of the Week: Ryler goes above and beyond by bringing quality, pride, and thoughtfulness to every task. His commitment to excellence and growth sets a powerful example for his peers. Keep up the amazing work, Ryler!

Ajahni Carty – Yale 10th Grade Student of the Week: Ajahni consistently demonstrates leadership by doing what’s right, fostering positivity, and setting the tone for a productive, inclusive classroom. His positive energy and consistent class participation help create a strong, supportive learning environment for everyone. Ajahni, your commitment to excellence is inspiring!

Miko Barnett – Yale 11th Grade Student of the Week – not pictured: Miko leads with kindness and compassion. From starting class affirmations to uplifting peers, his actions build a welcoming and encouraging space for all.

Rainer Julal – Yale 12th Grade Student of the Week – not pictured: Rainer continues to deliver excellence through hard work and determination. His commitment to academic success motivates those around him and sets a high standard for achievement. Keep up the great work, Rainer; success looks good on you!
