This week, we’re shining the spotlight on another group of exceptional students from our Yale campus who have truly distinguished themselves. From PreK through 11th grade, each honoree has demonstrated a strong commitment to our MAS Fundamentals — from “Doing the Right Thing Always” to “Delivering Results” and “Being Relentless About Improvement.” As we approach the end of the school year, these students continue to inspire us with their integrity, effort, and determination to grow. Please join us in congratulating them on a job well done!
Giovannie DeBari — Yale Campus PreK Student of the Week (May 19–23, 2025): “Shoutout to Giovannie for consistently participating in class and working hard all year in PreK. Your dedication and effort have been amazing to watch — you're going to thrive in Kindergarten next year. Keep it up!”
Makayla Ruiz — Yale Campus Kindergarten Student of the Week (May 19–23, 2025): “Makayla Ruiz is being recognized for her outstanding commitment and dedication. She consistently follows through on her responsibilities, upholds high standards, and ensures her peers are safe and following instructions. Her reliability, positive attitude, and leadership make her a true role model in the classroom. Makayla, thank you for leading by example and showing us what it means to honor commitments every day!”
Gael Macias Saucedo — Yale Campus 1st Grade Student of the Week (May 19–23, 2025): “Gael has shown tremendous growth since the start of the year. He works hard every day, stays focused, and is committed to making positive choices. Whether it’s staying on task or giving his classmates the space they need to succeed, Gael is showing that he’s serious about his growth. Keep it up, Gael — we’re proud of you!”
Sophia Guerra — Yale Campus 2nd Grade Student of the Week (May 19–23, 2025): “Sophia is always excited to learn and takes pride in her accomplishments. She recently earned an A+ and celebrated her success with price. Her results reflect the hard work she puts in each day. Way to go, Sophia!”
Aaliyah Lujan — Yale Campus 3rd Grade Student of the Week (May 19–23, 2025): “Aaliyah is an outstanding model of MAS Fundamental No. 10 — Delivering Results. She’s moved into the advanced level in Math and continues to show strong effort in Reading. Her focus and drive are impressive; way to go, Aaliyah!”
